Community-Based Training Programs with Recognition by TESDA-Rizal Provincial Office
This training program is designed to cater to the needs of various community groups within a specific locality, such as out-of-school youth, NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) individuals, Indigenous people, farmers, former rebels, and other target groups identified by TESDA for community-based training initiatives. Conducted in an informal setting within the community or barangay, the program aims to equip participants with the basic and core competencies needed to qualify to be a building wiring technician, residential-commercial electrician, or maintenance electrician, substantially equivalent to a TESDA National Certification in Electrical Installation and Maintenance (NC II).

Conducted in an informal setting within the community or barangay, the program aims to equip participants with the basic and core competencies needed to qualify to be a Carbon Steel Flat Welder substantially equivalent to a TESDA National Certification in Manual Metal Arc Welder (NC I).

This course is designed to enhance the competencies of licensed or certified basic welders to advanced structural standards. It focuses specifically on the core competencies required to weld carbon steel plate components in high-difficulty positions (Groove Vertical 3G and Groove Overhead 4G) and carbon steel pipe components in structural and industrial positions (Groove Pipe Flat 1G, Horizontal 2G, Vertical 5G, and Multiple-Option 6G) using Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) equipment. This qualification is patterned after TESDA Training Regulations SMAW NC II and aligns with international welding codes (AWS D1.1 and ASME IX).
TRAINEE QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Must be a holder of an active TESDA SMAW NC I National Certificate or have passed the WUCI Basic Welding (SMAW NC I) CBTP Course.
2. Must have successfully completed the WUCI Basic Welding practical exit exams.
3. Physically and mentally fit, with a specific focus on eye-hand coordination, physical stamina, and respiratory clearance for industrial environments.
4. Completed WUCI Advanced Aptitude, Work Attitude, and Interview Screening.
